"The new aids I recently purchased have exceeded my expectations. As you know, I need to hear accurately in my work as a FAA Inspector investigating everything from aircraft accidents to having meetings with pilots in sometimes, difficult situations. Although purchasing new hearing instruments is a significant investment, I felt my old aids were not meeting my needs any longer.
"I actually visited you to see if you could fix one of my old aids which after 11 years of use, quit at an inopportune time. I really didn’t like the feeling of being aided on one side. You fixed the inoperative aid promptly, free of charge and encouraged me to consider buying more modern instruments. Using my old aids as backups never occurred to me until I was in the situation I was without both working. After new aids, the Natura 2 SEs, I feel more confident in room environments and one thing of interest occurred. I believe this is because I am hearing more of the high frequency sounds associated with speaking certain words.
